thanks for the update. maybe I'll get better value outta this wy of using the site. ( although I've NEVER plucked up enough courage to sing at a karaoke venue and have only ever been to one Veunue . . . .I'm hoping that by finding some decent venues that I may actually have a go . . . . some day . . . . ) finger crossed.

If you're having trouble with the 'courage' aspect of karaoke, may I suggest singing along with someone on stage - I've done this with a few people and found that it makes them much more comfortable with facing an audience, and that they then find the first solo stint to be much easier...
