Do you mean folk who vote every 30 days are 'clicky?' Our votes only count once for that duration. That's hardly 'doctoring.'
Since becoming a subscriber ages ago, I have only voted twice from memory and both times for my favourite venue, yet it continues to usually hog the top spot without my help.
The folk who attend gigs they feel are better than other top 10 voted gigs should aid them with their votes and get their w2s friends down there rather than bemoan the possibility that the venue doesn't have many supporters who hop onto w2s. They could even alert others at the gig to the existence of w2s if they are unaware and encourage them to vote or at least give them a place to search for alternative gigs if they are dissatisfied and only attend for their karaoke fix.
I have attended 4 of the current Top 10 gigs to my knowledge and I know 3 of them name drop this site so it is logical that they should get votes. If other KJ's followed suit, perhaps they too would find themselves in the Top 10.
The Top 10 information is accurate, I say, insofar as gigs being voted for by people who log into w2s, rather than by the karaoke population at large. Increase the crossover and perhaps we will see a change but if we don't encourage other karaokers to visit the site and cast their vote, then any such changes will be gradual rather than drastic.
