| From the Where2sing.com forum: Kev ............ u are entitled to disagree with me that is your right. The point I was trying to make is we dont just go to venues because we will be the only ones singing. Lex I am sure would agree in that she has frequented venues where u might get 1 - 2 songs a night. This doesnt detract it from being a great enjoyable night. There are many quality singers out there. If she was only going to these venues because of the amount of songs she got to sing she would never return but i know for a fact she does go back, so its not always all about her singing. Some venues will allow us to sing 5 -6 songs a night and for some that is an attraction but again as i stated its not always about the singer alone or the number of songs we sing. And for the record my comment to Lex was made tongue in cheek.
Johnny B ........ I agree that some gigs promote the W2S site and good luck to them and no doubt this would help reflect there votes in the top 10. However what I do not like is that YES u can indeed vote more then once if u have more then 1 identity. I could vote here for a venue then when i go visit a friend, sister or brother, use there computers to create another email address and vote again or bag out a venue to create bad publicity. Please do not even try and pretend this does not or has not happened. I believe from what others have informed me that i could use this comp to vote then also relog in using another identity ( email that I have created ) to vote/bag out again. I will happily stand corrected on that one as i have never and will never try that. Im not here to bag anyones venues or any operators I think they all should be congratulated for providing us with something we all obviously love. To me if u visit a venue and dont like it thats fine theres no need to bag it out. What I may not like someone else may enjoy. We are all different
