Except......I keep on reading about some of the enormous numbers of singers at some venues-particularly in Sydney-sometimes in the 40's per night.I've often said that in Newcastle that the singers are spoilt by mostly getting 3-4 songs per night and in the worst case scenario 2 or 3.I've said to people many times here that a major part of the evening it to be able to appreciate the other singers just as the drinkers do.BUT......how do the singers feel about getting only ONE song in a night.I've seen the comments....what a great night....what a great show ..41 singers.How does it feel the next week and the next if it is the same case??
Would be really iterested in the singers thoughts and the hosts that run those shows...and what's it like in other States??
