I appreciate you saying that a host would do all they can to get singers but you must remember that for many people the internet is not a tool they know all that much about, particularly for those post 35 years old who didnt have the learning of it at school like they do now. Some of us are internet savvy and for many of the others it remains a piece of technology they cannot grasp compared to the pen and paper days of their school years. These hosts are like that when it comes to computers. They are great with karaoke players and the like and singing and hosting but getting on to the internet is a different kettle of fish. I applaud you for your skill on the web but do not judge lowly those who have little or no experience with it and who may have a phobia about it. I am sure there are many people just like them. This is another reason why I have made people aware that by no means are the where2sing top ten gigs a true measure as they only represent people who are internet savvy enough to get on here and also have such internet access as well as many other factors. Being internet savvy I will add the gig for them though. And remember that they are holding a gig that promotes talent for singers so should be applauded not put down. We should be doing all we can to make sure the venue continues to put on the talent quest for singers.
