Well, I didn't hit the hay till 6am today and was up just a few short hours later but hey, I've only been sick since Monday.

I'm not yet better but it's only been a mild cold with symptoms of dry sinuses and throat which ain't too good for singing. I don't socialise when sick in the least anyway as being one who hates to get sick, I do my darnedest to remain not guilty of spreading germs to others.
It was fortuitous getting sick. It forced me to stay away from singing, which meant I could focus on magic for a bit to beat my boredom allowing me to come up with some new tricks and then, this afternoon, I just got a booking for a 21st birthday party, weekend after this. Woo hoo! Alas it conflicts with St Marys, so I'll not able to attend... BOO hoo, in this case! :( The money will make up for it even though I'm charging less than some other guys I know cos they're damned good with way more experience and greater repertoires than I. Lots of others over charge. I wonder if that's the case with KJ's too... Wouldn't surprise me.
I'm not undercutting. As my skills improve, I'll start charging more. It's surprisingly good money in magic. Almost wish I got into it ages ago now!
Speaking of money, I was hoping to attend Chatty tonight to try to enter the comp again but now that I have an ABN and do offer my musical services as well as magical, I am by rights, a pro and 'twould be bad taste to enter more comps. This means my chaser days are officially over. Would have been nice to try once more at Chatty but never mind. Just another of those changes previously referred to. I'll still be having a social sing song at karaoke all over the place, so it's all good :D
