Mic...thanks for the great intro.to the season of celebrating as one does at this time of year. The crowd were roaring. Some great singing by all. Many characters, both new and old and of all ages were obviously having a great time.. The elderly gentleman was the best, sitting earnestly waiting for the show before it started saying its only 5 min to go! This speaks volumes. I was lucky enough to win a prize, the hat will be sure handy for helping me to keep my head on, and help me look ( just a little bit ) cool..er...lol
Catman....A whole lot of shakin' yeah! It was sheer enthuasism for the spirit of life, I caught it from the atmosphere Brad was creating with his Elvis rendition. Both young and old were getting with it...and well one needs to shake their booty occassionally. I certainly gave a few people a barrel of laughs with that spontaneous dancing routine and I have needed to relocate a couple of limbs and muscle groups this morning.
Songbird...I must make a point of emptying my pockets before I go to karaoke...as my friend gave the ruler to me earlier in the day...a metal ruler is so handy and every handyman wants one. I loved it when I saw the amused and questioning look in legends and your eyes as you drew out the ruler...as if to say What the ?....I cannot compete with that titanium rod ...lol...I have been told there is a special mineral in the water up that way that sends people to the extraordinary, or is it... ' the extreme ' ?
Lex and Songbird...I have been viewing a number of the karaoke singers on Youtube too...one can see so many different versions of the same song by artists...It is a great way for one to learn of how the he/she can adapt a songs style to their own...I did try True Colours one time...hmmm...lots of work still required by me...lol
