I had mainly regulars and it went for about 5 or 6 weeks.
The people that did have a go enjoyed doing it and it gave them a different perspective about Hosting.
In regards Guitaraoke we have it every two weeks and the most it has been done is 5 songs in one night.
Unfortunately only 2 people (one being Barri tone) have gone by the Guitaraoke discs while the others just play along with normal Karaoke songs and several have done their own thing.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND RULES
* Up to 10 entries will be accepted on each Wednesday night from 8 pm whilst this Competition is running.
* Only 5 names will be drawn out of those 10 entries to compete.
* The objective of this Karaoke Hosting Competition will be to introduce singers in your own style and get the audience to clap cheer and get behind each of the singers.
* Mixing of the singers and playing of their discs will be strictly done by Lisa or Kev or a designated person from Kev’s Karaoke.
* Each one of the 5 competing Hosts on the night will be given an allotted time of 15 minutes or 3 singers (which ever is reached first) to introduce, banter and show off their talents as Karaoke Hosts.
* At the end of the Karaoke Hosting Competition the Audience will be asked to then cheer for the Karaoke Host they thought was the best on the night.
* The Host that wins by the Audience reactions and the loudest cheers (as judged by Management) will receive a Karaoke disc as a prize.
* This competition will run over several weeks to gauge everyone’s reaction and if it’s successful we may have Semis and a Grand Final with some prize money up for grabs for the Grand Final winners.
* This will be determined by Kev’s Karaoke in conjunction with Peakhurst Inn Management who will also decide on the amount of prize money.
* It is therefore important that you correctly fill in your contact details above so you can be notified either by Telephone or by Email of any decision regarding a Grand Final or any other future contests. .
* The rules for the Hosts to follow are very simple and must be strictly adhered to by each of the contestants.
1. No Swearing
2. No singing over the singer
3. Must be encouraging to each singer
4. Must not have Hosted before
* Failure to observe these rules will result in the Hosts mic being turn off and the Host being disqualified.
* Once you have won a Karaoke Hosting Competition you are not eligible to enter again except for any Finals that may occur.
