You have shot yourself in the foot again. By singling out Tom (and myself for supposedly agreeing), you were being discriminatory! You talk of how atrocious our comments were and then you discriminate against the university crowds and imply that you discriminate also against anyone who believes in the measurement of IQ (since it is something you do not subscribe to)! LOL. I'd love to know where you get the idea that IQ has anything to do with getting into university. That's mainly just marks and marks just boil down to remembering relevant facts in exams and assessments. Of course, extra credit for extra-curricular activities count for something too, I hear. Neither that nor memory is equivocal to IQ. IQ is just a representation of your problem solving, cognitive powers and logical thought processes. Street smart people can score higher IQ results than professors and for that reason, I think it is a fine test of the mind. Albert Einstein had an IQ of 200 or more. I don't think anyone doubts his brain power, do they? He dropped out of high school and yet managed to educate himself thereafter and take science to the next level so that even non-scientists know he was a smart guy - even if they don't know why he was considered one.
BTW, stop putting words in my mouth. Did I say I agreed? No. I said I rather liked the theory. I found it amusing. May I suggest investment in a sense of humour? Oh. I may not? Too late!!! LOL
