| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hrrrrrr Wolf , you're a bloody legend , no doubt about it , So are you trying to make a point that because nothing has happened to your hearing over the years with music this mean that what Tom thinks and writes can-not be true ? or at least devalues his opinion ? , may i ask when was the last time you had a hearing test ? , because i had one about 2 years ago and have loss a percentage of my hearing capacity from my early 20's , and i know your hearing is no better than mine ( may-be a little worst ) and we are almost the same age, i dare say its more luck than any thing else that your hearing is still OK , but every-one is different and some people no-doubt would be more prone to hearing loss than others , but it can and does happen .
this comment is meant as an opinion , but i still state that a poorly mixed song hurts my ears at a LOW volume as much as a high volume song poorly mixed and if the music is WELL mixed i don't mind it loud ( to a point ) , especially dance / rave music and rock .
