Spoiler-Sites in the U.S. have placed Perth-born Michael Lee Johns in the Final 24 of American Idol 2008.
Extract from today’s The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
“A former Atlantan and native Australian, Michael Lee Johns, auditioned in San Diego and is also rumoured to make the Final 24. Johns lived in Atlanta earlier this decade, was lead singer of a band called The Film and played regularly at local bars and nightclubs such as former Buckhead staples CJ's Landing and Tin Roof Cantina.”
The Melbourne Herald-Sun also reported on this a couple of weeks ago, and added that Johns had extended exposure on the screening of the San Diego auditions – hinting that the Show’s producers think he has a great chance of winning.
