| From the Where2sing.com forum: Boy did I open a hornets nest in response to a comment that was made about a host & Venue on judges scoring at a comp, It seems everyone picked up on the comment of tv screens, That was only ment as a personal guidline for the apperent (non named) person/ friend on a singer in this comp, no mention of taking away point for looking at screen was commented on only you could recieve more points if you entertained the patrons watching, unfortunatly my comments were mostly based on the fact of trashing a venue or Host for perhapes rigging a comp (where this comp the Host or venue had no control over the scorring of a judges overall point) & my honesty to the karaoke world of singers out there is 'well', I just couldnt go past atleast not saying something on behalf of this venue or host of this gig, in response to these comments, As I was very surprised that a person can be so LOW & trash a venue on the judges response of the great talent that was had on the night, & who came first, 'BLAME ME' or the other judges Im an Honest person & will give an Honest feedback to any singer when had approached me on the night. But overall it seems some singers can go a little to far, but with feedback like that. BAD Comments on clubs why will they want to put on Karaoke for patrons in the future if these venues keep getting such bad response ' Hey karaoke singers think about that'.
