After considering the question I put to you I now can understand why you dont have a simple answer and also understand that if you did you may not wish to share it in any real form.The question I asked was what I thougth in the being was just a standard question you would be asked from time to time.

I was looking for a answer to a question that I dont quite understand . ( this is why I asked.)
I was not looking to ask a question that would lead to such a complexed answer and again point out to you that my understanding on the way things work here is limited.
With all of this in mind I dont have a answer to you question about key indicators for the growth or success of your site.
I would just assume that you would be able to report that the site is growing in visits and at what rate. EG in the first year 100 people found the site and posted in the forums and by the second year the number went to 150 and so on.
I would not expect you to give any details on these results unless they could be helpful to the host ,singers or venue and aslo do not give away info that you would prefere to keep to you self.
If say a percentage was used that it would not put numbers out there that anyone could use for other reasons.

Eg from year one to year two there was a 25% growth to the sites subcribers and/or forumers that have join in that year.
I was just interested in knowing that the hard work you put in is playing off for you. Perhapes you simply just get a lot of joy from doing this site and each year the joy of it becomes more each year. If this for you is the case than the success in this site is measured by your happiness in knowing the great service you provide grows each year.

I hope me asking this question does not lead you to feel I am after anything but a answer to what I thought was a simple question.
