| From the Where2sing.com forum: I Guess the best way to Measure success is on the ground at the show as well. If there are w2singers coming to gig that they found here then this would be a good indicator of how affective the w2s site was. Perhapes with some cross promotion in venues with all host that wish to take part there could be a drive to help promote this site even more to get the w2s brand being like the yellow pages of karaoke. It is a good thing to rope in some new blood of people that do yet know about this site.
There would be some people out there that could be great contributors of the where 2sing site.
What does a host promoting this site get in return.? Already because of this site many people have visited my venue and also go around to other venues as well. Word travels and the community grows and as a industry this is a good thing.
We all want a piece of the pie dont we? I want to be soaking in the stew and like the idea of seeing singers get out to other shows as well as my own.
There are some people that dont really feel that would benifit from adding to the stew as they are flying along in any case. They may feel it is not worth the worrie of it all. I can understand that and they maybe are right but to give the industry profile will benifit all including them.
There are shows out there that are not list , Singers that dont know about this site.Venues that dont know about this site.
On the ground with the right promotion the great tool you have created could be taken to the next level.
