| From the Where2sing.com forum: Tom - we may be in the minority here, but I agree with you in regards to 'hammy patter' etc from the Karaoke Hosts. When I am hosting or even teching, I like to be part of the machine.....well not really, but I just like to do my job and let the singers entertain us. After all, that is why they came to the show. That's not to say I am void of any personality or friendliness but it's the singers time. Plus once I am unleashed........ well that's for another forum.
