| From the Where2sing.com forum: born2sing, the top ten is perceived as best karaoke venues in Australia ... that is what this discussion has been about as this began when someone said on this forum that Chatswood was the best venue in Australia and deserved to be number one. I disagreed and gave the reasons why ... both invalidating the way the list is compiled and the less admirable qualities of the venue compared to others; one reason being that many people do not return to this venue because of its lare amount of poor snigers. As I have said all along, all venues have poor singers but Chatswood has a large amount of them which turns many people off. Some may like that but many dont. I am not a minority in that I dont like a procession of poor singers; I am a minority in those who agree that actually write on here. There are many venues which have all the good qualities of Chatswood (Chatswood has many good qualities as I have always said) however other venues do not have this procession of annoying poor singers that sing the same annoying songs week in and week out. I get a kick and a laugh out of some singers who are very poor as well, but not when they make up most of your night. So puss in boots and Rob, it is not a matter that bad singers cant get up and sing and have their fun, this discussion is to say that a constant run of them does not make a top ten spot compared to others that do not have this.
And puss in boots, implying someone is annoying is a personal attack! I have not made a personal attack on you and I have said pretty much the same in my posts as what Music Addict did. It was YOU who made a judgement on me because you didnt know me. Your response with Music Addict was completely different and positive even tho he was saying the same as me.
