| From the Where2sing.com forum: Wolf, I have no idea what 'Tom's of the world' is supposed to mean except insult. I have no problem with fun karaoke nights in pubs. I do mind punk women and others who hassle my wife when I'm not looking. Not being a stupid young lout myself prone to breaking chairs across heads or arguing with bouncers we choose to leave these venues. If people want to run low class karaoke it is not my business - but it does not help our collective image. People can take their clothes off if they want - just don't push my wife around. As for bad singing, I'm talking about saboteurs, not amateurs. Chatswood has a huge turnover and cannot be stereotyped. It's just a nice big friendly central venue. Several groups of regulars have been missing of late. Often it's due to their workshifts or change of residence more than anything to do with music or singing.
