The 'HOW' ... A mass mail-out costing 800 X 50 cents = $400 with material about this site to all the Venues. Cheaper option would be to search the White / Yellow pages to see if these venues have email addresses. Cheaper still is to get the singers who provided details of those gigs provide contact details for those venues.
It is a mass PR exercise, and time and effort will have to be invested - may take a week, a month, several weeks to compile the necessary info to contact all these 800 venues
Is $10 too much for a VENUE to pay for a ONE-OFF scatter-gun approach to mass marketing? What other forms of mass marketing can a Venue get for $10?
If you are a host of 5-6 of these gigs - is $50 or $60 too much for you to pay (if the Venues do not wish to contribute) for a bit of ONE-OFF publicity (which admittedly you may or may not benefit from)? What other publicity on a grand scale can you get for $50-$60 bucks?
Like I said, this is a mere suggestion, for very little money, from which ALL can benefit.
