They worked well due to the point that they were all uniform and had only smal sections of the lyrics at a time. I would not use vcd as I dont see them as being uniform and the writing is smaller. the back ground is off puting for some.
I only will use cdgs as most of my disc are cdgs using the sunfly the counter is clear on the screen all the time and I use the counter to know when to stop the music. All songs are normally ones people know and I have put a list together and am able to offer choice of . Classic. 70 80 90s and y gen ipod songs then after that a choice of two songs. The two songs are on the same disc so once someone makes there choice it a matter of playing the track number for that song there and then.
Works well . simple yet effective.
