| From the Where2sing.com forum: Michelle: My partner is not a huge fan of karaoke himself.(Thought we did meet at karaoke) He has never made inappropriate comments about it but he does tend to have a little bit of a whinge when it comes to karaoke night. They way I see it is he has his love for heavy metal music and I have my very fond love for karaoke.
I am lost at the thought as it why people see it has geeky or daggy. If these people actually bothered to spend an evening at karaoke they would see what a wide range of entertainment is on offer. Where else can you go and be provided with food, drinks, a good laugh, a sing-a-long, dancing, concert style atmosphere, battle of the voices and just a fantastic environment and might I add FOR ALMOST NEXT TO NOTHING! (For the SWD's) LOL
