| From the Where2sing.com forum: Im not disagreeing that past champions are there to provide inspiration. I am disagreeing that the KWC Australia make their own rules (not KWC World Champion rules) that national grand finalists cannot enter the competition again for 3 years. Theoretically, that means that at least 20 of the best are not able to compete each year. You can say rules are rules, but that does not mean that one has to agree with the rules. I am saying it is a silly rule and therefore realistically does not allow the best to compete each year. If a person came 2nd or 3rd in the national I believe they should be able to compete again the next year to go for the opportunity of representing their country at a world championships.
