I've been back in the east for 3 weeks now and it's been busy catching up witth everyone, initially came back here for my nephew's wedding which he asked me to MC at and organise the entertainment. I got a mate of mine who does a karaoke gig to provide the background music during the arival and dinner phase and then we had some karaoke later in the evening it went off really well. My nephew then asked me to house sit for him while he was on his honeymoon in Q/land.
Must say I'm missing the west, especially Friday nights at the Fox and Hounds and have been making plans to shift back there as soon as I possibly can.
I'm currently involved in a comp at my local (the Royal Tavener) and have been chosen for the finals in early May, it's going to take me at least that long to save up enough $$$ to shift back to WA so the prize money could come in real handy.
