From the Where2sing.com forum:

Geez! What's the point of coming on here to rant and rave only to then disappear? I've seen people leap to conclusions but this whatever person should have visited more often before commenting. You'd think a subscriber would at least read the forums, wouldn't you? Obviously not in this case or else whatever would have known not to make such uninformed comments.
* There was talk of a hosts competition within the last 2 (maybe 3) years. Not many were interested, so it got canned.
* It's NOT the same bunch of people here as a couple of years ago. Many new w2s'ers have emerged.
* People are not just bagging each other's gigs to get venues for themselves
and just for the record:-
* How this person can say...
'i will never bag anyone unless they bag me,'
...right after having said...
'i can honestly say its the same boring old people on here everytime complaining about everyone elses shows'
...&...
'as for the rest of those die hard wonna be karaoke hosts stick to your old job leave it up to people that know what they are doing. Sure anyone can sit there on there ass and sound like they are sprooking in a shopping centre. If you are a die hard karaoke fan , yep if your not happy stay at home or just go to another venue how hard is it really'
...is beyond me!

I suspect that even if this 'whatever' was to read the above points, they would simply respond by using the phrase 'whatever' (even before the info reached their mind) and thus learn nothing! No doubt, in 3 years, if they and this site are still around, 'whatever' may just say the exact same things and think they have somehow contributed to the karaoke community.

Meet karaoke hosts and singers in the Where2sing.com forums . . .

KARAOKE in Australia

You've found the #1 website with the original and biggest karaoke gig listings database listing nearly 1,000 gigs across all states of Australia - each listing with full venue name, address, phone number plus extensive information about the gig itself. Read feedback from singers who have already visited the venue, and see information such as songlist size, crowd size, type of singer and even how much applause you can expect when you visit each gig.

Or visit the forums where both singers and hosts meet and chat - including State-chat forums where you can make friends whom you'll meet up with at a venue near you.

And there are the Gig Reviews, the constantly updated 'National Top 10 Karaoke Venues' chart, specialised lists of venues for Under 18s and currently running Competitions, lists for karaoke rooms, restaurants, karaoke hosts and supplliers, and karaoke news from all around the world.

Of course, the best way to keep up to date is by opting in for the FREE weekly Karaoke News Email.
