From the Where2sing.com forum:

I think it a bit rich that you should name the guy Microphone. The option on here is to remain anonymous if you so please and you have basically named and degraded the person. I have been to a few of (name removed)'s shows ... it is easy to know who you are talking of with the breakdancing moves! He runs an ok show, not overly brilliant but is still one that i would return to. I disagree with some of 'whatever's post, but also agree with some of it, particularly that a focus on these forums is more negative than positive. It would seem that the general forum in particular is predominantly hosts and instead of working together in positive ways, there seems an overall negative vibe for karaoke. I have said before that more positive topics should be catered for.
As for 'whatever', I dont think anyone should be to hard as he could have been writing after a bad experience with some other host and then read a few snippets in here which add to that negative vibe and felt like having a rant. He didnt really name anyone ... generalised for sure, but he also had positives in his message ... he wants the karaoke community in here to be more positive. So maybe it is worth listening to that part of the message instead of skimming over it and thinking it is a negative rant at hosts, which some of you seem to be defending yourselves with.
Karaoke does have a 'not so glam' image out there and as hosts and singers you ahve the opportunity to improve that image by being positive and united. So you can either listen to someone's message asking for more spoitivity, or laugh it off and 'defend' your own egos.
