I spose what I was trying to say was that a person who generalises an attack is in reality not attacking every person. They are attacking some of the people they have had contact with. In a forum, 'whatever' did not name anyone to personally abuse their abilities. If you believe in your own abilities someone having a rant should not really influence you.
But when you name a person which is what you did, you are purely attacking them. AND you are allowing others to make negative assumptions that certain things are being directed towards them by someone and giving them a particular individual to attack as well. For instance, if I was a host (im not) and read whatever's post, perceived it negatively aimed at me and then you named him, then I have someone to have a go at and can personally attack him, even tho in reality, he may never have met me or been to any of my shows or know me from a bar of soap. If he wanted anonymity, let him have it. As David has rightly done under the rules of hte forum, the name has been removed, even tho maybe the mentionnig of his dancing skills and your further naming should also be removed?
