| From the Where2sing.com forum: All: A case is currently going through the Victorian Courts in where a person was injured whilst on a karaoke stage. I cannot mention alot about this case as for 1) it is still in court and 2) I am not supposed to know about it. But to give a brief description, the person in question was intoxicated has fallen from a somewhat higher stage then normally used and had broken his/her collar bone and fractured a rib. The venue where partly to blame here as the stage was a permanent fixture at the venue but claims are being made that the person stumbled due to unsafe taping of leads and the like.....
So yes, this can happen, has happened and I am sure will happen again.
