From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hi Cat heres one for ya. The Woman you talk of is a good freind of another host that does 200 dollar shows and last week she was at the venue trying to get the venue for herself. The manager told me all about it and about her cheap show price. You know M from M ,s Karaoke. Anyway the manager told her she does not stand a chance. I guess they dont want to go back to the days of 3 singers in the pub.
The woman that said. This karaoke is F****** shit got a huge boo off the stage . Wow that was a huge boo from about 100 people at the same time. Made me feel great. Funny thing was that I bent over backwards for this woman that could not read the song book so I spent about 5 minutes helping her find a song. After her outburst she asked about singing again and I told her that she was not going to get another song as she may wish to look for a show she likes. I dont need people like that at the venue in fact at this stage we only have room for nice people. ( like you catman )
Some changes at the venue will start shortly . I will be closing the pool tables for the time the karaoke runs to make room for the lounge area to be used.
Over the last couple of weeks the venue manager has been getting me to finish the show early due to the fact that the place is getting to crowded . I never thought the show would get to the point where we want to loss a few customers.LOL
Huge nights a the brewhouse lately . tThe Karaoke is the biggest thing at the venue and there is talk of doing a new night there to cope with the over flow.
