| From the Where2sing.com forum: I find it a little bewildering about the perception that other gigs are necessarily in competition with another. While I can't speak for Melbourne, there are so few gigs that I would say are in competition with each other in Sydney due to day of the week and location. Then of course you've got style of show (people that like few singers and heaps of opportunity to sing may very well not like gigs that are packed with minimal opportunities to sing and vice versa). Given those criteria, I wonder how many gigs really are in competition with other gigs and what people have to lose exactly...
