| From the Where2sing.com forum: Born2sing my point before was this, if someone is getting their 3 to 4 songs a night, then so should you.
Unless of course you arrive half way through the night in which one could not expect the same amount as those that put their names in earlier.
Now as far as taking me to a Karaoke Venue that this person sings to change my mind, well I don’t think it would (unless your shouting all night then I’m anyone’s ha ha ha).
You see I personally don’t like Evie even if its sung good, but I do love “American Pie” and “The House of the Rising Sun”.
I suppose my problem is that I’ve seen both sides of the spectrum and I’m a Host 1st and a singer 2nd (yes I know what your thinking he’s a better Host than a singer). Lol
I must say that I love and really enjoy all singers no matter how they sound or how long the song is as long as they are enjoying themselves.
Some people take Karaoke too seriously and that’s ok, some people use Karaoke as a social excuse to get out and meet people and that’s ok, some use it as a stepping stone or to build confidence or to practice that song they really love and that’s ok and some people see it as purely fun and that’s me
