| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi all...Dismal day and just got back from taking my Stepdaughter home to the central coast. Made it back before the rain. Hoping to go to the Brewhouse tonight and smile a little and sing with my friends. Had a lovely time with Catman at Lucky Australian last night while Legend had father/ daughter bonding time.
Just taking a moment to say special thanks to Catman and the Lovely Joan and Fossie for their continued love and support in all matters.You guys all mean the world to me. Your compassion knows no bounds and both Wayne and I cant thank you all enough. Also to Alisa and Alex and Kay who continue to support and ask about bubs condition and keep positive thoughts for him.
They both know that my cousins son is having a very bad time at the moment. He is only 7 months old and suffers a condition called Wiskott Aldrich. Its not a well known condition, but there are sites online that can explain somewhat if anyone would like to see. The doctor who is treating Zac has only seen 7 cases in the world himself in the last 30 years and it only affects Boys. Zac has undergone a bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy ( for the wiskott aldrich ) and an operation on his intestines. Right now all prayers ( if any of the karaoke family out there care to add him to your prayers ) he is suffering on top of this with both his liver and spleen enlarged, he has high blood pressure ( for which he has 3 medications ) and suffering a septecimea infection. They have him in a stasis condition which prevents him moving at all so that his little body can TRY and heal. His chances for survival according to the doctors right now is less than 30% with how badly he is affected with all this.
Im not trying to be dismal here or want people to pity him..its just that when the Careoke was on people pulled together for the support of a lovely girl with cancer and Im just asking my karaoke friends if they can do the same. This is for prayers and good thoughts for Zac and his mom Sue and Dad Troy and 5 yr old Big Brother ( who suffers the same condition but not as badly ). I thank everyone who will take this to their heart and keep positive thoughts for him in advance, and tell you all that on behalf of my Cousin Sue and Family.
