Tricia.

Sam & I both thank you for your apology - and my appologies too - perhaps I should have made myself clearer in my first post - however - as you can surely imagine, I had a friend that was to the point of crying, I was quite upset and angered myself when we got home, and perhaps ok, I may not have children of my own (yet) and don't understand what it's like to be removed from my kids, but I surely felt like the biggest butt head in the world for taking her to a Karaoke show where she felt that she was shafted/ignored or whatever word anyone would like to use- and as I have stated to David, perhaps it was a miscommunication or misunderstanding on our part of Funda Down Unda Karaoke's rules - but still the point was - he could have slotted her in before the end of the night. Again, I thank you for you appology, but perhaps it would be best for all concerned that I don't return to the Four Mile again - at least for a while. I'll continue supporting Funda - just at a different venue.

David,
I'm guessing that you were NOT there last night. Please don't pass judgement - we (my friend and I) had asked not one but 2 of the 'operators' for the night if it was possible to squeeze my friend in as she had been 'thrown out' of the song order earlier in the night because another girl had picked the same song only moments before she had. Perhaps it was our own mis-interpretation of Funda's rules of engagement (so to speak) in the front of their song lists - where we were under the understanding that we could only put in one song at a time (as myself personally was to assist my friend in singing the song) and I had already put one song in that I hadn't sung yet. Perhaps it is the 'ex-host' in me that is pushing this point - it's something that I see all too often where singers are ignored, shafted, or on the flipside of the coin - they are given more songs over other people because they are 'friends of the host' (Which, Tricia I'm not aiming at you - this statement i'm making is purely as a vent of my own) and when I see something where someone is left out or ignored or forgotten - my little protective instinct kicks in and I go into bat. My appologies if you felt that it was me 'having a whinge', but I was purely trying to defend someone who felt that she had been wronged.
