Ok guys ive been looking at the posts the last few days noting both Rays oppinions & on behalf of his friend on the day with us, I am the host (Yes a very short Female)& always at every stage never change my name as I will not hide behind any alias name, KemkarOp, I dont know you but many thanks for sticking up for our venue & hosts its terrible that someone can post a nice comment about a gig instead of a negative one & still be accused of being the host of the gig! but thankyou anyway, Ray I felt it was a disgrace to see your friend barrel up a woman (after waiting till a majority of male patrons had left the venue & she was on her own) & Verbaly abuse & accuse myself of running a misleading comp, I had only meet this singer in question once in the semi finals as I helped that night with the hosting, as we hold karaoke on 2 seperate nights by 2 seperate companys & combined the finals on my weekend gig, hence the host for the weekday gig was using my equipment tunning in all competitors, as I had the job of song for comps to compleat & Mc/Host the night, the only time I tuned in competitors were when he had to go to bathroom or get a drink from the bar, so sorry Ray if your friend misled you or your own eyes never noticed that ,I was not in comand of that part of the show & 'No' I was never approched at any stage to ask to turn things down, as a Director was in close ear shot & for their older regulars the music is to be keeped at a minimum at all times, perhaps you Ray were sitting to close to the speakers!. also Ray at every night (BOTH NIGHTS) throughout the heats two A4 sheet brightly displayed on every table of the full rules of competiotion was left for all to see & I made a personal touch by indicating to every one at their tables that they were to be read as I like to meet all our singers throughout the night on my gig night, I cannot be attacted for what my counterpart on the other gig night does or does not do, but the sheets were available if your friend had asked on that night as well & also given out to each heat winner certificates & again in the semi's with their certificate's which I gave personally (I might add all this extra printing of sheets /certificates & such to our singing patrons comes out of our own pockets not the clubs), again Ray because I had not meet your friend until the semi for a few moments, when he approached me on the finals night & gave me the verbal abuse & the aggression in his manner I took great offence to the way it was spoken to me on his grievances, 'I would say any woman on their own would as I may have been struck for all I know of this person,' I tryed to explain that what the manager had said was only his oppinion not ours (as I had know idea myself that their was a so called 'comp chaser' in the comp, as some went to the mid week gig & not on the weekend gig which I was hosting until this singer approached me about such a matter) that was your friend Ray! & that the other judge had no knowledge of any contestants in the finals & judged on what they saw on the night. & as I know that work commitments / family / transport & illness can be a big part of not going to a venue on regular apperance I cannot regulate that!. The problem that was going on behind your friend while he was attacking me verbaly was about a nasty racial remark on a singer & not with the same problems your friend had Ray!. I have seen all of the competitors winners & non winners a number of times since this comp & they have nothing but great remarks & praise about the comp & their friends they sang against, I to will say I had a ball on the night & thought all should have won as I am not biased to any of my singers or those so called 'comp chasers' as they are not just my clients but hopfully friends as well, perhaps if your friend, 'Ray'! would have taken time out to Know me & some of his competitors he would have found us all a great & fun bunch. The comments about my website is only your oppinion, you know the site get the number & ring me & I will give you a polite rundown on what your incorrect theory's are & what you saw on my site & I think you will give me an appoligy 'Ray'! or I can only come to the conclusion your are a very bitter nasty person.The karaoke had been moved a number of times around the club as they are in the middle of renavations something totally out of our control, the closure of these gigs are something I cannot comment on as it was on decretion of the club & both karaoke companys at the time.
