| From the Where2sing.com forum: Anyone got a good cure for an itchy throat ?
Haven't been able to do serious karaoke for a couple of weeks, trying to sing without coughing haha
Went to St Marys RSL late on Sat night, only could sing one song because I got there late, was grateful to the hosts for slotting me in towards the end.
I really enjoy singing, but not really being a drinker or a smoker it takes patience sometimes to wait through drunken singers.
It is not so much the singing, but on two occasions at different locations, a friend I took to karaoke, was manhandled by a drunk regular, once during her singing and the other time after she sang.
There has to be a balance so that everyone can have a good time at karaoke, comp or no comp.
Not just regulars, nor professionals.
