| From the Where2sing.com forum: Wiley Park Hotel's semi finals which were supposed to be on Friday night, (which was confirmed by Hotel Management during the week) were postponed to a later date (possibly 24th May) by the karaoke operators.
We were told by hotel management to be there before 8pm to register, but still annoyingly had to wait till the Rugby test between OZ and NZ finished. Karaoke started about 10pm, which is really late to start.
A few of us semifinalists turned up, only to find out about it being postponed, some went home, To support the local club, a few of us did stay around to sing.
The whole thing is a bit disorganised, half of the songs wouldn't work on the night either.
Shame because the guys who run the show, Le Chic, are really nice people.
