Hi Everyone!

Have not even taken a glimpse for an age and it took forever just to catch up on the old posts. Have become a 'soccer mum', to my closest friends this is amusing as I have no sporting talent whatsoever. I am currently coaching, am registrar, comp secretary and in charge of fundraising so my spare time of late has been non existant, hence my absence from the site and any karaoke shows. It may also excuse my tardiness in responding to some important posts.

Kev: Happy belated anniversary. It's a shame that it is difficult for me to get over that way but my thoughts are with you. Hope to meet again in the not so distant future.

Born2sing: Many thanks for the birthday wishes. Was very pleased to hear about Rachel's success although not terribly surprised. The first time I spoke to Rachel was at St Pats after she had sung Gloria, commending her on what a great job she did of it. I will no doubt bump into you both again soon so perhaps by then she will have gone farther along in the comp. Pls pass on my regards to her.

Johnny: Am unfortunately working on the 21st, I now have a permanent Fri/Sat fortnightly gig. By the sounds of things tho, this could become a regular thing so perhaps next time the show may fall on my weekend off. Pls pass on my love to g/f, miss you both and am looking forward to warmer weather and a few more bbqs.

Microphone: God I miss you and Bling, no sorry, I miss Bling, you I tolerate for her sake!! Was so sorry that I missed the Band Club on Mother's Day but was asked to do an extra gig at the restaurant. I asked Songbird to pass on my best but who knows with that wicked woman! Things are gradually starting to quiet down at soccer so have made plans to pay you a visit this Thursday.

Catman & Uncle Ray: Great to see you last night! Catman, I am still wondering which new boy toy you were out to impress. A little clevage goes a long way, or so I'm told, I am still looking for mine. I have three 'Ray finger sized' bruises just above my knee where I was maliously man-handled by Uncle Troll!!!! I'm giving you fair warning Unc, next time I'm bringing superhold gel.

Puss: Was good to see you and your other half after such a long time.

Songbird & Legend: Thanks again for the pic. Within a year, I should have an album full of shots of me perched on Legend's lap. And you thought the accident was the cause of his clots! Your kind offer to help with Roarke tomorrow was much appreciated. He goes into surgery around 1pm so I'll take you up on that offer and will see you around 5.30am as he cannot eat after 6am. (lol) Perhaps next week, you and the lad can come around for lunch one day. I may even bump into you at Mics on Thursday.

Lex: Was great seeing you too!

Joan & Fossie: I am so glad that the night went well. The sound was exceptional, quite an achievement as any time I have been there in the past, albeit only five times over the past eight years, the sound operator/s have always had a few problems. With total professionalism and grace you both worked through a massive amount of singers. A far from easy feat and one that I am only too pleased to never have to deal with again. It was a pleasure to support you both, as you have your singers. I wish you all the best.

To anyone I may have missed: Was great to catch up after such a long time.
