Have to admit, I did NOT try that search. In the past, such Google searches have only sent me to the log in / main page and then a button click as usual got me to the current forum page. Guess an update at Google or w2s or both has taken place since those times.
Building on ''host from NSW's'' search criteria, I Googled 'Submitted-by on-03-06-2007 where2sing' and got a couple of hits, then clicked the option of including the omitted hits and got what I assume was each individual post for that date. I notice the date format of entries in the forums has changed, so I am sure a Google of the new date format and some generic things like 'host-from-NSW' or 'a-singer-from-NSW' should yield results also. HOWEVER, the search is flawed for a few reasons. First, one may not always remember the words used in a post let alone someone's name as in this case. Second, one may not always know the exact date for which to search and third, as I said above, the Google search only brings up individual posts and NOT whole forum pages, so I think the coding option for such functionality within w2s is still a valid request as far as people wishing to catch up on the forums are concerned. It's a sure bet subscribers would not appreciate having to go to Google to read posts one at a time instead of with the ease of reading whole pages within w2s itself for which they have paid for ease of access to.
