| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hey guys. You know, flies have this little nerve in them which tells them when to stop drinking. If you remove it, the flies will keep on drinking until they burst. At the karaoke, Tom is the guy with the beer, and I am the woman with the glass of champagne. I joke that I need at least one before I can get up and sing. We have more than one. We just know when to stop. That would be, for flies, some time before you burst. For others, some time before you puke or black out (and can't remember all the 'fun' you've had).
It's not drinking, its violence and intimidation that comes from way too much drinking that is the problem.
I believe the Gordon Club management think so too, because they are taking every effort to make sure their staff understand their responsibilities. The boys from Cambelltown will find a different reception if they appear there again - maybe karma will kick in beforehand and Fishers Ghost will get them!
