| From the Where2sing.com forum: Good to see tentmaker-oz has a positive attitude towards being 'Judged ' and it will always continue to be the case that there will be an element in all comps (even lucky draws) that view the event with suspicion!
Isn't it interesting & unfortunate to hear Judges make for the back door before results are made public. I am sure this has nothing to do with the fairness of the decision, but in a lot of cases atmosphere in the venue and the fact that the old addage of 'The Judges Decision Is Final' is certainly NOT respected and Judges, do get their fair share of intimidation from supporters leading up to Finals decisions!
Hands up, how many of us experienced ones would happily volunteer to Judge a comp @ any venue that would ask us??
Ray the 'hidden agenda' thing 30 - 40% mmmmm! How do we distinguish which ones they are and how can it be established as fact? I am not naive nor baiting for examples of Venues here, but it seems whenever I hear that sort of Cry - 'It wuz Rigged' etc etc it always come from some disgruntled contestant/s so to read 'tentmaker's' humble request for feedback to 'iron out the wrinkles' is somewhat refreshing and I hope other singers read his comment and follow his example because I can assure him or them that this guy will win competitions because he has the humility and talent that is willing to expand and learn Good onya!
