How would you prefer the judging? Would you prefer to have them talk back after each performance, like they do on idol? I think it's good to get feedback if it will help improve your performance, however, what do you do when the feedback is negative and humiliating... do you think it fair for a judge to publicly humiliate someone for doing what they love? Of course, I'm open to criticism, and if someone is pitchy or doesn't perform, fair enough, it can be told to them in a diplomatic way! I only pose the question as I recently saw a great singer get publicly humiliated on stage by talkback judges for being… wait for it 'too good and professional!?' The manner which they said it was appalling and tried to belittle this person on stage.. I'd like to hear anyone's opinion if that is fair or not, because I thought it was totally out of order! This country has some great talent that we should praise, not bully.
