| From the Where2sing.com forum: I used to go in talent quests where there's no monitor for words or playing with a live band using music charts,most of these competitions have feed back from one or sometimes 2 judges,most of the time they are constructive in their appreciation of the performances of the contestants,but sometimes their criticism borders on contempt! It is so sad to see young ladies in particular breaking down and crying because they hit a bum note or the colour of their dress was wrong,etc.etc.
Sometimes these judges are not that much better than the talent on show,as was expressed by a fellow contestant to a judge only recently that I attended,this person had alot of guts to do what they did,because they knew they weren't in the money anyway,so had nothing to lose.
By the way,this person sang at Nortons last Sat,but being the ethical man I am shall remain anonymous.
