In one of my first reviews of the Venue, which I first visited back in February, I strongly criticised their skinny songlist, and I even wrote to the KWC 2008 Organisers about it! My subsequent reviews noted that notwithstanding the bad sound and the skinny choices, the grass-root karaoke-goers don't seem to mind, and its popularity is blossoming - I put that down to it being a great venue (its physical attributes I mean), and great entertaining hosts, who stress and promote the fun side of karaoke for everyone and not just for the elitist singers!
