He is certainly one of the nicest person you'd like to meet, not just at karaoke, but anywhere - so unassuming, so modest, so humble in his triumph - just like PENNY too. Such qualities, especially humility, are rare amongst the top echelon of 'amateur' performers.
PS: PETER JENKINS has so much warmth, amazing dexterity and range in his voice - as evidenced by his 2 winning songs - 'Grace Kelly' by Mika and 'Bed of Roses' by Bon Jovi. To me, he sang both songs BETTER than the original artists - he sang them as Peter Jenkins, not as Peter Jenkins pretending to be Mika or Jon Bon Jovi!!
