| From the Where2sing.com forum: All's quiet on the NSW front ?
I was bored last night so went out to the Albion in Parra, Rob Deal was the host, hadn't met him before personally.
Seems like a very nice guy, and good host, he was there with Christine (I believe that was her name) but didn't get to speak to her.
They ran a well oiled show, there were heaps of singers, like almost 2 hours between songs.
Some good singers, in a range of different styles, I walked into a guy singing a Metal Song, then there was some Hard Rock as well. RnB, swing, etc...
I met up with Harpoet, who sang Unchain My Heart and another song (memory escapes me) - and did a good job.
Linda and Miles (Hosts from Thurs OWS) popped in late and sang some nice tunes, Linda sang with husband Matt Endless Love, and alone another tune.
Miles sang His Eye is On the Sparrow, and Sway
Both have great voices.
I sang a very different version of my favourite, a version I hadn't come across before, and then sang all by myself.
An enjoyable night.
