| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Rob, i think there wil be sone interesting times ahead with operators obviously wanting to move with the times and steer away from using discs,What happens with a multi rig operation like yours with the Tricerasoft site, do you download once but pay for each of your six (or however many you use) rigs that the particular track ends up on...? Tricerasoft have contacted us regarding using CK tracks on their download site but i directed that one to god (i mean't Darryl) for cosideration,we have a good trading relationship with Sundown so i cant see any issues here.
I believe Sunfly should consider say a 12 month amnesty for operators to do the correct thing and come forward and pay say 50 cents a track or something for all Sunfly content on that given HD or as they have suppliers like us in QLD & PJ&K in Sydney etc get the operators to bring their disc sets along so proof of purchase can be proven then pay the fee per track to Sunfly plus fill out the forms for AMCOS to get their share for format change and fill out a contract similar to the one Sound Choice have drawn up and away you go, i dont know the answer but it is possible to have a large number of tracks legally stored on HD for public use and at the end of the day you may just need to support the companies that support you and unfortunately Sunfly will need to be left out and thats a shame because they make a great product, look at the Kools, great track list including Aussie content, i suppose most pro operators would have a CDG player in their rack incase the computer fails so you could have your Karaoke Kool playing machine ready to go.
