| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi its my first time in here. You all seem like such nice people. Sad to here about someone being ill and losing their show to boot. Twighlight .. Perhaps the venue is to blame for the greed etc described below as they are the ones who have sought out a new operator. If this op didnt take the gig it would just have been offered to someone else. Venues do not run by making decisions to be nice but to keep their doors open with profits. If Twighlight had a crowd the venue will call you back. I would not be seen to be causing trouble by the venue as they are the ones making all the decisions not the karaoke ops. If you didnt get undercut by the new op and they did not directly canvass the gig to take it from you then i dont think there is much that can be said or done by all you nice people!
