This was the first time that Garry and I have been to this venue, and we enjoyed ourselves. We actually went there on the invitation of one of the contestants that we have not seen in awhile. We didn't expect to see as many people as we have known over the year
and it was really good to catch up with them also. Not many comp chasers and it was really good to see the regulars finally get a look in, in their own club for a change. As you know and your partner when you are doing a comp you select the songs that you are very comfortable with, same as the contestants did on the night and it does not matter whether we all like the song choice it is really up to them.
In my opinion the three people that came a place deserved it, I was glad that we were not judging as the ten that got through I picked, and you have got to remember the prize money was $500 1st 300 2nd 200 3rd and $25 for each singer.
Garry and I thought the Karaoke Show was run exceptionally and the sound was great. Good night all round.
