| From the Where2sing.com forum: Thankyou Catman . I am looking forward to working with a venue thats values the worth of quailty karaoke host. I plan to make sure that the New St marys venue is a complete success and that the singers also are valued as paying customers.
Only a stone thought away now from that other hostless circus so there is now no need to support a club that treats this industry and its operators in such a degrading way. one thing is for sure it is only down hill from here as the entertainment manager of the near by club has failed to be able decide what is best for the club. I only hope that the other host involved with this circus soon see what he has done to them. Althought I have written to him telling him about other offers given to me the man has not even had decend mind to return with an answer. I have been mislead by him in him telling me this is a process to find the best show for the club and not only has he been dishonest to me but also to all involved. At this stage I have heard that a host has pulled out and can only go by rumor that it is me. at no stage have I informed the club I was pulling out and infact in the letters sent to him and the president was quite clear to show that infact I was not doing so.
In any case I does not really matter now as where he was under the understanding he was holding all the cards and was driven by a nature of being a control freak he has only shown us all that it is not the best that will win the gig in the end but the one that wishes to be screwed the most. So remember this fellow host if you win this gig it is not due to being the best at running a show . You will always be know as the one that takes it the best thats all.
I will be across the road running a karaoke show on the same nights and the same time and will be providing the singers with a show that values them. Please pop in on sunday as It will be good to see you all there.
