| From the Where2sing.com forum: Dave, If this is about Everything Entertainment I would love the oppurtunity to educate the punter below and show him how and why we are legal.
Alot of hosts are getting quite upset that I run computer karaoke (mostly because they don't have the know how to do it themselves) and I know this filters down to punters, its not really their fault that they are being misled and if I was told of someone doing something that I deemed 'wrong' I would react and see me in the same way.
As far as the 'free version' software goes we run Tricerasoft 'Justkaraoke' which is fully licensed to ev-ent which does lead to me to think that maybe he isn't talking about us... but if he/she is please give him/her my email address.
I would also like to point out for the record that according to Apra/Amcos if you download tracks from Tricerasoft and use them at your show no additional license is nessecary. All Licenses have been paid for in their respective countries of manufacture and no extra payments to Apra/Amcos or Mipi are needed.
Don't believe me? Well you don't have to, call Apra and ask for Gareth Chan he will fill you in.
