Hi David, Yes that's correct. The gig is still running on a Friday night, but under a different operator. I tried to remove it once before stating that "the gig was still being run but not by us" but it still came under our listing. .........

Ah, many thanks - I now understand it. I've reinstated the gig as it's still running. Your 'Own Gigs' list holds your own gigs *plus* any other listings over which you have control. And that Friday gig is one of them, as the present operator is too slack to control his own listings. That's why there was a 'release this gig' link under the buttons - when a gig in your 'Own Gigs' is not actually run by you, there's a 'release this gig' option so you can drop it from your list (without removing it totally from W2S). And that's the reason why last time you Removed it saying 'it is now run by some other host' it still came up in your 'Own Gigs' - because it did successfully drop your name from the listing as a host, but you were still in control of the listing. But I realise there was nothing in the various gigs in your list to tell them whether they were *your own* gigs or not, so I've updated the page so you'll now see the name of the host listed - and will be able to see that you have your own gigs plus this Friday gig run by that other host. No one can see who controls gigs, so no one knows that you have control over your competitor's listing. You can, of couse, click the 'release this gig' link to drop that Friday gig from your list (that doesn't remove the gig from W2S - it just drops if out of your list and you lose control of it). But you might not actually want to do this, because at the moment you have the sole ability to update the details of the gig as you see fit. (You will automatically lose control of this gig if you, or no one else, Re-Confirms it for more than 30 days). Sorry this sounds all a bit complex, but it's all part of the master-plan of how people who care about the gig listings on W2S get exclusive control of particular listings, and only lose them if they don't keep up the listing.
