| From the Where2sing.com forum: Oh dear, so I succeeded in upsetting those Canberra-nites living cozily in the Australia's Porn capital? Well, I figure the ACT is great for legal fireworks and porn but not much else happens there. Even John Howard, whom I bumped into today on the way home, reckons Sydney is *the* place to be. After all, its got a great harbor, nightlife and is the ancestral home of where2sing.com.
I did suggest originally offering subscribers the choice to choose which time-zone they would like to see (with times stored in GMT format and converted upon display) back when where2sing was a static lump of bits ‘n bytes sitting upon David’s desk a few doors down from Starcity Casino but the idea of animating it was festering away in Dr ‘Frankinstein’ David’s mind and I guess was put into the rainy day box.
But who knows, now that he knows our home state viz the Forum Cookie Monster, we might see a ‘hometown’ time ticking above the mantle-piece. After all, now is the season to be merry and get busy writing your Christmas wish fulfillment lists.
I will be away a-roving this summer so you will not see much posting from me but rest assured that I will be discreetly visiting some venues in the northern parts of our great land and may even introduce myself.
